Trader Dies Fleeing Police Search Mistaken For Raid

A 38-year-old businessman in Morena, Madhya Pradesh, died after collapsing while running from police. Cops were searching for a theft suspect near a gambling den when the trader, Suraj Gupta, panicked and fled, believing it was a raid. He fell during the scramble and later died. His family protested, demanding murder charges against the police. Five officers were transferred, and a probe was ordered. The administration provided financial aid for funeral expenses.
