Jio Platforms is preparing a capex-light strategy to launch 6G services in the early 2030s, focusing on software upgrades rather than new infrastructure. Managing Director Akash Ambani stated that the company has over 360,000 towers and 1 million km of fibre, enabling 6G as a software upgrade.
