Centre Denies Land Requisition for High-Speed Rail Corridors

Union Minister G Kishan Reddy clarified that the Centre has not sent any land acquisition requisitions to state governments for three proposed high-speed rail corridors linked to Hyderabad. He stated that any land acquisition currently underway for these projects is illegal. Alignment studies for the Hyderabad-Chennai, Hyderabad-Bengaluru, and Hyderabad-Pune corridors are ongoing. Once alignments are finalised, details will be shared with state governments and farmers, Reddy added, following discussions with the Railways Minister.

केंद्रीय मंत्री जी किशन रेड्डी ने साफ किया कि केंद्र ने हैदराबाद से जुड़े तीन प्रस्तावित हाई-स्पीड रेल कॉरिडोर के लिए राज्य सरकारों को जमीन अधिग्रहण की कोई मांग नहीं भेजी है। उन्होंने कहा कि इन परियोजनाओं के लिए अभी जो भी जमीन अधिग्रहण हो रहा है, वह अवैध है। हैदराबाद-चेन्नई, हैदराबाद-बेंगलुरु और हैदराबाद-पुणे कॉरिडोर के लिए अलाइनमेंट का अध्ययन चल रहा है। रेड्डी ने रेल मंत्री के साथ चर्चा के बाद कहा कि अलाइनमेंट फाइनल होने के बाद, राज्य सरकारों और किसानों के साथ जानकारी साझा की जाएगी।
