DYFI Protests Alleged Weakening of Kerala's Public Healthcare System

The Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYFI) in Malappuram organised a protest march on October 13, accusing the UDF government of weakening the state's public healthcare. Activists alleged that shortages of medicines and doctors, along with medical errors, are negatively impacting public health services. The DYFI also accused the government of favouring private healthcare providers. They called for immediate measures to protect and strengthen the public health sector for the benefit of citizens.

डेमोक्रेटिक यूथ फेडरेशन ऑफ इंडिया (DYFI) ने मलप्पुरम में 13 अक्टूबर को एक विरोध मार्च निकाला। उन्होंने UDF सरकार पर राज्य की सार्वजनिक स्वास्थ्य व्यवस्था को कमजोर करने का आरोप लगाया। कार्यकर्ताओं ने कहा कि दवाओं और डॉक्टरों की कमी, साथ ही चिकित्सा त्रुटियों से सार्वजनिक स्वास्थ्य सेवाओं पर बुरा असर पड़ रहा है। DYFI ने सरकार पर निजी स्वास्थ्य सेवा प्रदाताओं का पक्ष लेने का भी आरोप लगाया। उन्होंने नागरिकों के फायदे के लिए सार्वजनिक स्वास्थ्य क्षेत्र की सुरक्षा और मजबूती के लिए तत्काल उपायों की मांग की।
