Hindustan Times · sports

Former India batter Mohammad Kaif believes India will require a strong bowling attack for the 2027 ODI World Cup in South Africa and Zimbabwe, citing anticipated batting-friendly pitches. He highlighted that unlike the 2003 World Cup where multiple players contributed significantly, winning abroad requires more than just one star performer. Kaif pointed out India's current bowling lineup is unsettled, with a lack of depth beyond Jasprit Bumrah.
