North India Braces For Rain, Hailstorms As Western Disturbance Hits

The weather in North India is set to change dramatically due to a Western Disturbance, bringing chances of rain, strong winds, and hailstorms to Delhi-NCR and surrounding states. IMD forecasts thunderstorms across many parts of the country. Meanwhile, heavy to very heavy rainfall is expected in Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Kerala, and parts of Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka. This shift occurs as the Southwest Monsoon withdraws and the Northeast Monsoon begins to activate in the South.

पश्चिमी विक्षोभ के कारण उत्तर भारत में मौसम में बड़ा बदलाव आने वाला है, जिससे दिल्ली-एनसीआर और आसपास के राज्यों में बारिश, तेज हवाएं और ओलावृष्टि की संभावना है। IMD ने देश के कई हिस्सों में गरज के साथ बौछारें पड़ने का अनुमान जताया है। वहीं, तमिलनाडु, पुडुचेरी, केरल और आंध्र प्रदेश व कर्नाटक के कुछ हिस्सों में भारी से बहुत भारी बारिश की उम्मीद है। यह बदलाव तब हो रहा है जब दक्षिण-पश्चिम मानसून वापस जा रहा है और दक्षिण में उत्तर-पूर्व मानसून सक्रिय होने लगा है।
