FSSAI Suspends Seven Seas Hospitality Licence Due to Severe Food Safety Violations

The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) has suspended the licence of Seven Seas Hospitality with immediate effect following serious food safety violations. An inspection revealed poor hygiene, deteriorated food items like fungal growth on produce and rotten vegetables, and inadequate pest control measures. Deficiencies in food storage, including improper segregation of food types, were also noted. The company scored only 30 per cent compliance, leading to the immediate halt of its food business activities.
