Orchestra bars in Mumbai will receive relief on premises licence fees, with the Maharashtra government reducing the annual renewal hike from 10% to 5%. The effective date for the revised fee structure has also been postponed from January 1, 2018, to January 1, 2020. This decision follows representations from the Indian Hotel and Restaurant Association (AHAR) and consultations with the state government. Additionally, concessions for 2020 and 2021 are approved, proportional to closure periods due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
