Adityanath highlighted his government's focus on police reforms, equipping forces with modern resources, and improving infrastructure. He also noted the installation of over 14 lakh cameras and the establishment of seven police commissionerates to enhance safety and crime prevention across the state.

उत्तर प्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ ने 2017 से पहले पिछली सरकारों की कानून-व्यवस्था की कमी की आलोचना की, यह कहते हुए कि माफिया समानांतर सरकारों की तरह काम करते थे। उन्होंने जोर देकर कहा कि प्रभावी कानून प्रवर्तन के लिए मजबूत राजनीतिक नेतृत्व महत्वपूर्ण है। आदित्यनाथ ने पुलिस सुधारों पर अपनी सरकार के फोकस, बलों को आधुनिक संसाधनों से लैस करने और बुनियादी ढांचे में सुधार पर प्रकाश डाला। उन्होंने राज्य भर में सुरक्षा और अपराध की रोकथाम को बढ़ाने के लिए 14 लाख से अधिक कैमरों की स्थापना और सात पुलिस कमिश्नरेट की स्थापना का भी उल्लेख किया।
