Hyderabad Water Board Seizes 12 Motors Illegally Connected to Pipelines

Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWSSB) vigilance officials seized 12 motors illegally connected to drinking water pipelines in Kukatpally zone on Thursday. The inspections, conducted in Vivekanandanagar Colony and Gayatrinagar ward, identified and removed motors directly drawing water from supply lines. This illegal extraction reduces water pressure and affects supply to other consumers. The Water Board stated that inspections will continue to curb such violations and warned of action against offenders.

हैदराबाद मेट्रोपॉलिटन वाटर सप्लाई एंड सीवरेज बोर्ड (HMWSSB) के विजिलेंस अधिकारियों ने गुरुवार को कुक्कटपल्ली जोन में पीने के पानी की पाइपलाइनों से अवैध रूप से जुड़े 12 मोटर जब्त किए। Vivekanandanagar Colony और Gayatrinagar वार्ड में की गई जांच में सप्लाई लाइनों से सीधे पानी खींचने वाले मोटरों की पहचान की गई और उन्हें हटा दिया गया। इस अवैध निकासी से पानी का दबाव कम हो जाता है और अन्य उपभोक्ताओं को आपूर्ति प्रभावित होती है। वाटर बोर्ड ने कहा कि ऐसे उल्लंघनों को रोकने के लिए जांच जारी रहेगी और दोषियों के खिलाफ कार्रवाई की चेतावनी दी है।
