Karnataka Minister Seeks Interim Crop Insurance Relief For Rain-Hit Farmers

Karnataka District Minister T Raghumurthy has urged the state government to release interim crop insurance compensation for farmers facing severe rainfall deficits and moisture stress. Crops like tur, maize, and ragi have been significantly affected across six taluks. Raghumurthy requested intervention under the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana, seeking immediate relief for eligible farmers. He specifically asked for 25% of the insured amount to be credited to their accounts promptly, based on the district crop insurance committee's findings.

कर्नाटक के जिला मंत्री टी रघुमूर्ति ने राज्य सरकार से भारी बारिश की कमी और नमी के तनाव का सामना कर रहे किसानों के लिए अंतरिम फसल बीमा मुआवजा जारी करने का आग्रह किया है। छह तालुकों में तुअर, मक्का और रागी जैसी फसलें काफी प्रभावित हुई हैं। रघुमूर्ति ने प्रधानमंत्री फसल बीमा योजना के तहत हस्तक्षेप का अनुरोध किया, जिसमें योग्य किसानों को तत्काल राहत की मांग की गई है। उन्होंने विशेष रूप से जिला फसल बीमा समिति की रिपोर्ट के आधार पर, बीमा राशि का 25% तुरंत उनके खातों में जमा करने का आग्रह किया है।
