Kashmir Leaders Protest 'Tantra in Silence' Event

Political and religious leaders in Kashmir are demanding the cancellation of a spiritual event titled 'Tantra in Silence' planned for September 24-27 in the Gurez valley. PDP president Mehbooba Mufti, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, and Grand Mufti Nasir-ul-Islam have urged Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and the police to intervene. They expressed concerns that the event, organized by Shree Rajneesh Temple, could undermine the region's religious, cultural, and social ethos.
