Former Supreme Court Justice Rajesh Bindal Appointed NCLAT Chairperson

Former Supreme Court judge Justice Rajesh Bindal has been appointed as the new chairperson of the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT). His appointment follows the completion of Justice Ashok Bhushan's tenure on July 4, 2026. Justice Bindal retired from the Supreme Court in April after serving for over three years. Prior to his Supreme Court elevation, he served as the Chief Justice of the Allahabad High Court. Justice Yogesh Khanna had been serving as the officiating chairperson since July 5.

पूर्व सुप्रीम कोर्ट जस्टिस राजेश बिंदल बने NCLAT के नए चेयरमैन

सुप्रीम कोर्ट के पूर्व जज जस्टिस राजेश बिंदल को नेशनल कंपनी लॉ अपीलेट ट्रिब्यूनल (NCLAT) का नया चेयरमैन नियुक्त किया गया है। उनकी नियुक्ति 4 जुलाई 2026 को जस्टिस अशोक भूषण का कार्यकाल पूरा होने के बाद हुई है। जस्टिस बिंदल अप्रैल में तीन साल से अधिक की सेवा के बाद सुप्रीम कोर्ट से रिटायर हुए थे। सुप्रीम कोर्ट में पदोन्नत होने से पहले, उन्होंने इलाहाबाद हाई कोर्ट के मुख्य न्यायाधीश के रूप में कार्य किया था। जस्टिस योगेश खन्ना 5 जुलाई से कार्यवाहक चेयरमैन के रूप में सेवा दे रहे थे।
