The BYD Yangwang U9 Xtreme has achieved a historic milestone, becoming the world's first production car to surpass 500 km/h. The megacar clocked an incredible 503.17 km/h on open roads in Abu Dhabi, UAE, earning a Guinness World Record. This extreme version of the U9 boasts over 2,977 bhp from four motors and features significant aerodynamic upgrades. Previously, it had recorded 496.22 km/h in Germany and achieved a sub-7-minute lap at the Nurburgring.
