Assam Teacher's Fake Certificate Found After 32 Years

An Assam government school teacher, Puspa Sahu, has been found to have allegedly used a fake Class X certificate to secure her job in 1994. The discrepancy was discovered during a transfer-related document check nine years before her retirement. The Assam State School Education Board confirmed that no candidate with her name and roll number appeared for the 1992 HSLC Special Examination. Her salary has been stopped, and the department is investigating other teachers suspected of similar fraud.
