Devi Ahilyabai Holkar Airport in Indore is implementing stricter safety measures around its boundaries. A ban has been imposed on open garbage dumping along approach roads, specifically the Indore-Pithampur road and the route from Super Corridor to Pithampur. This measure aims to prevent bird attraction, which poses a serious threat to aircraft safety. Additionally, laser activity in the vicinity is prohibited, and permissions for high-rise buildings near the airport will not be granted. Measures also include trimming trees near the runway to ensure aircraft safety.
