Panchkula Witnesses World's Longest Ravan Effigy Burning

Thousands gathered in Panchkula on Tuesday to witness the burning of a 221-foot-tall Ravan effigy, claimed to be the world's longest. The event, held at Shalimar Ground, marked the conclusion of Dussehra celebrations and featured a fireworks display. Organised by the Shri Mata Mansa Devi Dussehra Committee and the Shri Adarsh Ramlila Dramatic Club, the festival aimed to highlight the religious and cultural significance of Dussehra. Dignitaries including RSS functionary Prem Goyal and Rajya Sabha MP Rekha Sharma attended the grand celebration.

मंगलवार को पंचकुला में हज़ारों लोग 221 फुट ऊंचे रावण के पुतले को जलते देखने के लिए इकट्ठा हुए, जिसे दुनिया का सबसे लंबा बताया जा रहा है। शालीमार ग्राउंड में हुए इस कार्यक्रम ने दशहरा उत्सव का समापन किया और इसमें आतिशबाजी का भी प्रदर्शन हुआ। श्री माता मनसा देवी दशहरा कमेटी और श्री आदर्श रामलीला ड्रामेटिक क्लब द्वारा आयोजित इस उत्सव का उद्देश्य दशहरा के धार्मिक और सांस्कृतिक महत्व को उजागर करना था। आरएसएस पदाधिकारी प्रेम गोयल और राज्यसभा सांसद रेखा शर्मा सहित कई गणमान्य व्यक्ति इस भव्य उत्सव में शामिल हुए।
