Authorities recovered over 7,260 kg of heroin and froze properties worth ₹902 crore belonging to traffickers, the highest forfeiture nationwide. The police also achieved a 90% conviction rate and dismantled 1,288 organised criminal modules, arresting over 3,300 gang members. Future strategies include dismantling financial networks and bolstering cyber security.

पंजाब पुलिस ने ड्रग्स तस्करी के खिलाफ बड़ी कामयाबी हासिल की है। मार्च 2022 से अब तक 95,000 से ज़्यादा NDPS केस दर्ज किए गए हैं और 1.27 लाख से ज़्यादा लोगों को गिरफ्तार किया गया है। अधिकारियों ने 7,260 किलोग्राम से ज़्यादा हेरोइन बरामद की है और तस्करों की ₹902 करोड़ की संपत्ति जब्त की है, जो पूरे देश में सबसे ज़्यादा है। पुलिस ने 1,288 संगठित आपराधिक मॉड्यूल को खत्म किया है और 3,300 से ज़्यादा गैंग के सदस्यों को गिरफ्तार किया है। भविष्य की योजनाओं में वित्तीय नेटवर्क को खत्म करना और साइबर सुरक्षा को मजबूत करना शामिल है।
