Aaj Tak · sports

India and Pakistan are set to face each other in the Asian Games men's cricket gold medal match. A key point of discussion is whether the players will shake hands after the game, continuing a recent trend. Indian players have previously avoided shaking hands with Pakistani counterparts in other tournaments, citing solidarity with the armed forces. While not mandatory by OCA or IOC rules, handshakes are a tradition for sportsmanship. The decision on the handshake policy will be made by BCCI Secretary Devjit Saikia upon his arrival.
