Airtel Money made its London debut on Friday, with shares opening flat before rising 2% to trade at £2, above its IPO price of £1.96. The Africa-focused mobile money business raised approximately $703 million through the sale of 270 million shares from existing shareholders. This marks London's largest IPO since September 2025, valued at around $7 billion. The listing offers investors direct exposure to a rapidly growing digital payments sector across 13 sub-Saharan African countries, serving approximately 53 million monthly active users.
