Two Activists' Custody Extended For Two Days By Delhi Court

The judicial custody of Ashutosh Ranka and Saurav Das from the CJP has been extended by two days by a Delhi court. SEM court cited their past conduct, disrespect for law, and a serious apprehension of peace disturbance as reasons for the extension. Additionally, the bail sureties they provided were found to be ineligible. Their lawyers have challenged the SEM court's order in the Delhi High Court, seeking an early hearing. The activists were initially detained for attempting to protest at Jantar Mantar.
