Tamil Nadu Minister Inspects Food Grain Production and Storage Facilities

Tamil Nadu Minister for Food and Civil Supplies P. Venkataramanan conducted an inspection of food grain production and storage facilities in Madurai district on Thursday. He reviewed paddy milling processes, grain quality, and stock levels of essential commodities intended for the public distribution system. The minister visited a modern rice mill and a 6,000-tonne capacity warehouse, examining operational efficiency, inventory, and storage protocols. He was accompanied by district officials, including the Madurai district collector.

तमिलनाडु के खाद्य और नागरिक आपूर्ति मंत्री पी. वेंकटरमणन ने गुरुवार को मदुरै जिले में खाद्य अनाज उत्पादन और भंडारण सुविधाओं का निरीक्षण किया। उन्होंने सार्वजनिक वितरण प्रणाली के लिए आवश्यक वस्तुओं की धान पिसाई प्रक्रिया, अनाज की गुणवत्ता और स्टॉक स्तर की समीक्षा की। मंत्री ने एक आधुनिक चावल मिल और 6,000 टन क्षमता वाले गोदाम का दौरा किया, जहां उन्होंने परिचालन दक्षता, इन्वेंट्री और भंडारण प्रोटोकॉल की जांच की। उनके साथ मदुरै जिला कलेक्टर सहित जिला अधिकारी भी थे।
