Priest Murdered in UP After Prediction of Son Proves Wrong; Father-Son Duo Arrested

An 81-year-old priest, Swami Devanand Bharti, was shot dead in Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh. The priest had predicted a couple would have a son, but a daughter was born, leading to anger. The accused, Hashim and his son Zeeshan, were arrested by the police. They confessed to the crime, stating they had a dispute with the priest over the incorrect prediction. The duo also planted a neighbour's photograph at the crime scene to mislead the investigation and frame him for the murder.

मुजफ्फरनगर, उत्तर प्रदेश में 81 वर्षीय पुजारी स्वामी देवानंद भारती की गोली मारकर हत्या कर दी गई। पुजारी ने एक जोड़े को बेटे के जन्म की भविष्यवाणी की थी, लेकिन बेटी का जन्म हुआ, जिससे गुस्सा आ गया। पुलिस ने आरोपी हाशिम और उसके बेटे जीशान को गिरफ्तार कर लिया है। उन्होंने अपराध कबूल कर लिया है, यह बताते हुए कि गलत भविष्यवाणी को लेकर पुजारी से उनका विवाद था। दोनों ने जांच को गुमराह करने और हत्या के लिए पड़ोसी की तस्वीर भी अपराध स्थल पर लगा दी थी।
