Four Haryana Food Officials Booked For Allegedly Misappropriating 153 Tonnes of Wheat

Four officials from Haryana's food and civil supplies department have been booked for allegedly misappropriating 153,000 kilograms of wheat. The officials, posted in Gurugram in 2023, allegedly showed the wheat as supplied through the public distribution system while selling it in the open market. A raid on the Gurugram DFSC office followed complaints of stock mismatches. Records indicated wheat was shown transferred via POS machines in July, August, and November 2023, with much of it allocated to depot holders using machines that were idle.

हरियाणा के खाद्य एवं आपूर्ति विभाग के चार अधिकारियों के खिलाफ कथित तौर पर 153,000 किलोग्राम गेहूं की हेराफेरी के आरोप में मामला दर्ज किया गया है। 2023 में गुरुग्राम में तैनात इन अधिकारियों पर आरोप है कि उन्होंने सार्वजनिक वितरण प्रणाली के माध्यम से गेहूं की आपूर्ति दिखाने के बजाय उसे खुले बाजार में बेच दिया। स्टॉक में गड़बड़ी की शिकायतों के बाद गुरुग्राम DFSC कार्यालय में छापा मारा गया था। रिकॉर्ड से पता चला कि जुलाई, अगस्त और नवंबर 2023 में POS मशीनों के माध्यम से गेहूं हस्तांतरित दिखाया गया था, जिसमें से अधिकांश उन मशीनों का उपयोग करने वाले डिपो धारकों को आवंटित किया गया था जो निष्क्रिय थीं।
