SDTT has been granted an extension until October 19 to file its response to complaints lodged by vice-chairmen Venu Srinivasan and Vijay Singh. The complainants allege that the trust exceeded its charitable mandate by interfering in the commercial and strategic affairs of Tata Sons. They had sought interim orders to prevent the trust from holding board meetings and exercising voting rights at Tata Sons' AGM. The Maharashtra Charity Commissioner accepted SDTT's request for a one-week extension.
