The Indian Railways women's basketball team concluded the FIBA Women’s Basketball League Asia with three losses, highlighting a significant gap in physicality, fitness, and court craft compared to Asian competitors. Head coach Anitha Pauldurai stressed the need for at least five to six annual exposure tournaments, particularly for U-16 and U-18 categories, to improve standards. She noted that while the team showed better cohesion in later games, conditioning remains a challenge, with players struggling to maintain intensity.
