Hindustan Times · environment

Gurugram experienced much-needed relief from heat as rain and thunderstorms arrived on Monday morning, lowering temperatures across the city. Gurugram tehsil recorded the highest rainfall at 40 mm, with Kadipur, Harsaru, and Wazirabad sub-tehsils receiving 36 mm each. The India Meteorological Department reported Gurugram's minimum temperature dropped to 23°C. This rainfall follows nearly two weeks of dry weather, attributed to a western disturbance and upper-air cyclonic circulation. Minor waterlogging was reported in some older sectors of Gurugram.
