US President Donald Trump announced on Wednesday that massive exploration for oil, gas, and minerals is set to commence in Greenland. This development follows a security agreement signed last month between the US, Denmark, and Greenland. The agreement was established after President Trump had repeatedly expressed interest in acquiring control of the Arctic island. The exploration initiative signals a significant economic and strategic focus on Greenland's natural resources.
