Coimbatore Man Escapes Police Custody Again Before Prison Lodging

A 25-year-old man, Ragavan alias Kozhikkaran, facing multiple robbery and theft cases, has escaped from police custody for the second time. He was apprehended on Friday after a previous escape in June and was being transferred to Coimbatore Central Prison. While being processed for entry into the prison early Saturday morning, he pushed escorting officers and fled into nearby bushes. An intensive search operation involving six teams, drones, and CCTV analysis is underway. Four police personnel responsible for his escort have been suspended due to negligence.

25 साल का राघवन् उर्फ कोझिक्करण, जो कई लूट और चोरी के मामलों का सामना कर रहा है, दूसरी बार पुलिस की गिरफ्त से भाग गया है। उसे शुक्रवार को पकड़ा गया था, इससे पहले वह जून में भागा था और उसे कोयंबटूर सेंट्रल जेल ले जाया जा रहा था। शनिवार तड़के जेल में दाखिल करने की प्रक्रिया के दौरान, उसने साथ चल रहे पुलिसकर्मियों को धक्का दिया और पास की झाड़ियों में भाग गया। छह टीमों, ड्रोन और सीसीटीवी फुटेज की मदद से उसकी तलाश जारी है। लापरवाही बरतने के आरोप में उसे ले जा रहे चार पुलिसकर्मियों को निलंबित कर दिया गया है।
