Two Arrested Near Ole Miss After Drug Bust

Authorities arrested Yahya Mohamed Mosleh, 51, and Islam Mohamed, 18, near the University of Mississippi campus on drug charges. A search of a local tobacco and vape shop uncovered over 500 units of kratom, THC cartridges, gummies, and other suspected controlled substances. This bust occurred days after two University of Mississippi students died in unrelated incidents. Police found packaged kratom from a retail store at both student death locations. Kratom has been prohibited in Oxford since 2019.

यूनिवर्सिटी ऑफ मिसिसिपी के पास से ड्रग्स के आरोप में 51 साल के याह्या मोहम्मद मोस्लेह और 18 साल के इस्लाम मोहम्मद को गिरफ्तार किया गया है। एक तंबाकू और वेप शॉप की तलाशी में 500 से ज़्यादा क्रैटम, टीएचसी कार्ट्रिज, गमीज़ और अन्य संदिग्ध नशीले पदार्थ मिले। यह कार्रवाई दो छात्रों की मौत के कुछ दिन बाद हुई है। दोनों छात्रों के पास से उसी दुकान का क्रैटम मिला था जहाँ से ये सामान बरामद हुआ है। ऑक्सफोर्ड में 2019 से क्रैटम पर बैन है।
