AAP Questions SGPC Over Bahrain Woman's Extended Sarai Stay

Aam Aadmi Party's Baltej Pannu has questioned the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) and Akali Dal leadership regarding a woman from Bahrain's extended stay at an SGPC sarai. Pannu alleged that an audio recording involving Akali leader Virsa Singh Valtoha contained claims of harassment and questioned the woman's prolonged presence and financial transactions. He also criticized the SGPC's inquiry committee, suggesting it lacked the seniority to investigate allegations involving senior leaders. Pannu urged cooperation with Punjab Police instead of a CBI probe.

आम आदमी पार्टी के बलतेज पन्नू ने शिरोमणि गुरुद्वारा प्रबंधक कमेटी (एसजीपीसी) और अकाली दल के नेताओं से बहरीन की एक महिला के एसजीपीसी की सराय में लंबे समय तक रुकने को लेकर सवाल उठाए हैं। पन्नू ने आरोप लगाया कि अकाली नेता विरसा सिंह वल्टोहा से जुड़े एक ऑडियो रिकॉर्डिंग में उत्पीड़न के दावे किए गए थे और महिला की लंबी मौजूदगी और वित्तीय लेनदेन पर सवाल उठाए। उन्होंने एसजीपीसी की जांच समिति की भी आलोचना की, यह सुझाव देते हुए कि वरिष्ठ नेताओं से जुड़े आरोपों की जांच के लिए इसमें पर्याप्त वरिष्ठता नहीं थी। पन्नू ने सीबीआई जांच के बजाय पंजाब पुलिस के साथ सहयोग का आग्रह किया।
