Haryana Minister Orders Weekly Pollution Reviews Across NCR Districts

Haryana Environment Minister Rao Narbir Singh has directed the Haryana State Pollution Control Board (HSPCB) to intensify pollution control measures in NCR districts, including Gurugram. He mandated weekly reports on inspections, enforcement, and compliance, emphasizing visible on-ground action before the Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP) begins. The minister stressed the need for regular inspections of construction sites, RMC plants, and waste generators, and called for increased staff strength to ensure environmental norms are met. These directives aim to tackle concerns over construction dust and waste management as winter approaches.

हरियाणा के पर्यावरण मंत्री राव नरबीर सिंह ने हरियाणा राज्य प्रदूषण नियंत्रण बोर्ड (HSPCB) को गुरुग्राम सहित NCR जिलों में प्रदूषण नियंत्रण उपायों को तेज करने का निर्देश दिया है। उन्होंने निरीक्षण, प्रवर्तन और अनुपालन पर साप्ताहिक रिपोर्ट अनिवार्य कर दी है, और Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP) शुरू होने से पहले जमीनी स्तर पर कार्रवाई पर जोर दिया है। मंत्री ने निर्माण स्थलों, RMC संयंत्रों और कचरा उत्पन्न करने वालों के नियमित निरीक्षण की आवश्यकता पर बल दिया, और पर्यावरण मानदंडों को पूरा करने के लिए कर्मचारियों की संख्या बढ़ाने का आह्वान किया। इन निर्देशों का उद्देश्य सर्दियों के नजदीक आने के साथ निर्माण धूल और कचरा प्रबंधन पर चिंताओं को दूर करना है।
