Voting is underway for eight Bihar Legislative Council seats, comprising four graduate and four teacher constituencies, with over 5.32 lakh voters deciding the fate of 150 candidates. The Patna Graduate seat is particularly contentious, as JDU MLA Anant Singh openly supports Jan Suraj candidate Anuj Singh over his party's nominee, alleging past opposition. Several Mahagathbandhan allies are contesting against each other on six seats, potentially splitting crucial votes.
