Over 13 lakh voters in Delhi have been deleted from electoral rolls during the pre-SIR mapping phase. January 2026 saw more deletions than the entire 11 months of 2025. दिल्ली के चुनावीRegister से 13 लाख से ज़्यादा वोटरों के नाम हटा दिए गए हैं। यह काम SIR मैपिंग से पहले हुआ है। जनवरी 2026 में जितने नाम हटे, उतने तो 2025 के पूरे 11 महीनों में भी नहीं हटे थे। अधिकारियों का कहना है कि यह Register को लगातार अपडेट करने का हिस्सा है। नामों के हटने की वजह बताने वाली कोई अलग लिस्ट जारी नहीं की गई है।
