Home Ministry Officials Arrested For Bribery

Delhi Police's Special Cell has arrested two government officials on charges of demanding bribes. The officials allegedly sought illegal payments from an association in exchange for processing their FCRA registration. One accused officer was posted in the Home Ministry's Foreigners Division, while the other worked in the Pay and Accounts Office. The Home Ministry stated its zero-tolerance policy towards corruption and emphasized that all FCRA services are available online, with no intermediaries authorized. Further investigation is underway to determine if others are involved.

दिल्ली पुलिस की स्पेशल सेल ने रिश्वत मांगने के आरोप में दो सरकारी अधिकारियों को गिरफ्तार किया है। अधिकारियों पर आरोप है कि उन्होंने एफसीआरए पंजीकरण की प्रक्रिया के बदले एक एसोसिएशन से अवैध भुगतान की मांग की थी। एक आरोपी अधिकारी गृह मंत्रालय के विदेश प्रभाग में तैनात था, जबकि दूसरा पे एंड अकाउंट्स ऑफिस में काम करता था। गृह मंत्रालय ने भ्रष्टाचार के प्रति अपनी जीरो-टॉलरेंस नीति बताई और जोर दिया कि सभी एफसीआरए सेवाएं ऑनलाइन उपलब्ध हैं, और किसी बिचौलिए को अधिकृत नहीं किया गया है। यह पता लगाने के लिए आगे की जांच चल रही है कि क्या इसमें कोई और भी शामिल है।
