Diwali gift boxes are seeing significant changes this year due to soaring dry fruit prices, with pistachios becoming scarce as their cost has nearly doubled. Almond prices have also risen by approximately 20%, prompting companies to substitute nuts with seeds and berries to manage gifting costs. Despite these adjustments, the overall sales volume for dry fruit and nut gift packs has seen a 5-7% year-on-year increase. The overall dry fruit basket is now 25-40% more expensive, driven by global supply issues and increased shipping costs.
