Punjab BJP Seeks CBI Probe Into Murder of Anti-Drug Activist Jhota

The Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) and BJP have sharply criticized the Aam Aadmi Party government in Punjab following the murder of anti-drug activist Parvinder Singh Jhota. State BJP president Kewal Singh Dhillon has written to the Punjab governor requesting a CBI investigation into the daylight killing. BJP national president Nitin Nabin highlighted the deteriorating law and order situation, stating that those fighting drugs are now in danger. SAD leader Bikram Singh Majithia appealed to the governor to consider imposing President's rule to restore peace and stability in the state.

आम आदमी पार्टी सरकार की शिअद और भाजपा ने पंजाब में नशीले पदार्थों के कार्यकर्ता परविंदर सिंह झोटा की हत्या के बाद कड़ी आलोचना की है। प्रदेश भाजपा अध्यक्ष केवल सिंह ढिल्लों ने पंजाब के राज्यपाल को पत्र लिखकर दिनदहाड़े हुई हत्या की सीबीआई जांच का अनुरोध किया है। भाजपा के राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष नितिन नवीन ने कानून व्यवस्था की बिगड़ती स्थिति पर प्रकाश डाला और कहा कि नशीले पदार्थों से लड़ने वाले अब खतरे में हैं। शिअद नेता बिक्रम सिंह मजीठिया ने राज्यपाल से राज्य में शांति और स्थिरता बहाल करने के लिए राष्ट्रपति शासन लगाने पर विचार करने की अपील की।
