The Hindu - International · world

US President Donald Trump stated on Wednesday that the death of a Russian plague laboratory worker did not appear to be linked to a biological weapon. He told reporters that while Russia insists the situation is under control, not much information is being released. Trump drew a parallel to China's initial response to the Covid pandemic, noting that both countries have been reticent with details. He confirmed a scheduled phone call with Russian President Vladimir Putin to discuss the issue.
