Tata Trusts Challenges Chandrasekaran Reappointment

Tata Trusts Chairman Noel Tata has challenged the reappointment of N Chandrasekaran as Tata Sons Chairman for another five-year term. Tata Trusts has engaged jurist Abhishek Singhvi as its lead counsel. Singhvi stated that crucial provisions of the Tata Sons articles of association were not followed by the board. He also clarified that there is no connection between the potential listing of Tata Sons and Chandrasekaran's reappointment.

टाटा ट्रस्ट्स के चेयरमैन न. टाटा ने एन. चंद्रशेखरन को टाटा संस के चेयरमैन के तौर पर अगले पांच साल के लिए फिर से नियुक्त करने को चुनौती दी है। टाटा ट्रस्ट्स ने अभिषेक सिंघवी को अपना वकील नियुक्त किया है। सिंघवी ने कहा कि बोर्ड ने टाटा संस के आर्टिकल्स ऑफ एसोसिएशन के अहम नियमों का पालन नहीं किया। उन्होंने यह भी साफ किया कि टाटा संस की लिस्टिंग और चंद्रशेखरन की नियुक्ति का कोई लेना-देना नहीं है।
