Gujarat Leads India In New Investor Additions

Gujarat has surpassed Uttar Pradesh in adding new investors, registering 230,000 new investors in August. This surge represents a 94.8% month-on-month increase and 134.9% year-on-year growth for Gujarat. Overall, India saw a 16.7% rise in new investor registrations, reaching 1.55 million. Uttar Pradesh followed with 200,000 new investors, while Maharashtra added 160,000. The top five states contributed over half of the new registrations, indicating a significant expansion in the investor base.
