Former Indian cricketer Sunil Gavaskar has cautioned the Indian batting lineup ahead of their tour to New Zealand. He highlighted that the team's performance will heavily depend on the weather conditions, which can significantly impact ball swing and pitch behavior. Gavaskar noted that overcast skies and moisture would make the ball swing more, posing a major challenge for batsmen. However, he expressed confidence in the top-order batsmen like Yashasvi Jaiswal, KL Rahul, Devdutt Padikkal, and Shubman Gill, believing they can perform well if the weather is favorable.
