Bihar Vigilance Raids Engineer's Properties in Disproportionate Assets Case

Bihar Vigilance Investigation Bureau conducted simultaneous raids at four locations linked to Rural Works Department Executive Engineer Chandra Shekhar Singh on Thursday. The raids in Chhapra, Patna, Katihar, and Darjeeling are part of a case investigating allegations of amassing disproportionate assets. Authorities recovered ₹3 lakh in cash from his Patna flat and ₹2 lakh from his Katihar residence, along with approximately 250 grams of gold and silver jewellery. The investigation is ongoing, and the total value of suspected illegally acquired movable assets may increase.

बिहार विजिलेंस जांच ब्यूरो ने गुरुवार को ग्रामीण कार्य विभाग के एग्जीक्यूटिव इंजीनियर चंद्रशेखर सिंह से जुड़े चार ठिकानों पर एक साथ छापेमारी की। छपरा, पटना, कटिहार और दार्जिलिंग में ये छापेमारी आय से अधिक संपत्ति अर्जित करने के आरोपों की जांच के तहत की गई। अधिकारियों ने पटना के फ्लैट से ₹3 लाख नकद और कटिहार स्थित उनके आवास से ₹2 लाख नकद बरामद किए, साथ ही करीब 250 ग्राम सोना और चांदी के गहने भी मिले। जांच जारी है, और अवैध रूप से अर्जित चल संपत्ति का कुल मूल्य बढ़ सकता है।
