Telangana Mandates Robotic Surgery Training For PG Students

Telangana plans to make six-month robotic surgery training mandatory for postgraduate medical students to build a skilled workforce for government hospitals. Health Minister C. Damodar Raja Narasimha stated the government will seek National Medical Commission approval for this addition to the three-year postgraduate program. This initiative aims to decentralize advanced surgical expertise beyond premier Hyderabad institutions, ensuring wider access for patients across the state.

तेलंगाना सरकार सरकारी अस्पतालों के लिए कुशल डॉक्टर तैयार करने की योजना बना रही है। अब पोस्टग्रेजुएट मेडिकल छात्रों के लिए छह महीने की रोबोटिक सर्जरी ट्रेनिंग ज़रूरी होगी। हेल्थ मिनिस्टर सी. दामोदर राजा नरसिम्हा ने कहा कि वे नेशनल मेडिकल कमीशन से इसकी मंज़ूरी लेंगे। इससे बड़े शहरों के बाहर भी मरीज़ों को अच्छी सर्जरी मिल सकेगी।
