Bengaluru Airport Customs Seizes Ganja Worth Rs 2 Crore, Arrests Two

Customs officials at Bengaluru's Kempegowda International Airport have seized hydroponic ganja valued at approximately Rs 2 crore in two separate incidents this week. In the first case, Ritesh Vijay Thadani was apprehended with 2.9 kg of the substance, worth Rs 1 crore, concealed in a false compartment of his trolley bag after arriving from Bangkok. The following day, Rahul Kumar was caught with 3 kg of ganja, estimated at Rs 1.1 crore, also hidden within his luggage. Both individuals were arrested for smuggling the banned substance.

बेंगलुरु के केम्पेगौडा इंटरनेशनल एयरपोर्ट पर कस्टम्स अधिकारियों ने इस हफ्ते दो अलग-अलग मामलों में करीब 2 करोड़ रुपये की हाइड्रोपोनिक गांजे की खेप जब्त की है। पहले मामले में, बैंकॉक से आए रितेश विजय थदानी को उसके ट्रॉली बैग के झूठे कंपार्टमेंट में छिपाए गए 2.9 किलोग्राम गांजे के साथ पकड़ा गया, जिसकी कीमत 1 करोड़ रुपये थी। अगले दिन, राहुल कुमार को उसके सामान में छिपाए गए 3 किलोग्राम गांजे के साथ पकड़ा गया, जिसका अनुमानित मूल्य 1.1 करोड़ रुपये था। दोनों व्यक्तियों को प्रतिबंधित पदार्थ की तस्करी के आरोप में गिरफ्तार किया गया।
