Property inspections will now be conducted via online applications or mobile apps. Aadhaar will be the default verification option, with alternatives available. Departments must also provide advance time slots for in-person visits and ensure adequate facilities, while DigiLocker integration and automatic fee refunds for rejected applications are mandated.
