Singer Pragathi Guruprasad has publicly accused musician-actor Teejay Arunasalam of withholding royalties and proper credit for nearly a decade concerning their songs 'Thean Kudika' and 'Nahila Nahila'. Pragathi stated that despite attempts at amicable resolution, the dispute remains unresolved, with alleged threats and harassment hindering progress. She claims that Teejay approached her for 'Thean Kudika' in 2013, promising a royalty share, but neither she nor producer Steve Cliff received any payment for the song's success.
