Valencia CF Sells 42% Stake To KKR-Backed Group For 1.25 Billion Euros

Spanish football club Valencia CF has announced that investment consortium Pitchwise Holdings will acquire a 42 per cent stake in the club for 1.25 billion euros. The deal, backed by KKR co-founders, will see Pitchwise Holdings purchase shares from the current majority shareholder, Meriton Holdings. As part of the agreement, the consortium will also inject 100 million euros in fresh capital directly into Valencia. Meriton Holdings will retain majority ownership, with Kiat Lim continuing as club president. This investment comes as the club prepares to move to its new stadium.
