Ahead of Diwali, the Kalyan-Dombivli Municipal Corporation (KDMC) has commissioned 50 new streetlights in tribal hamlets in the Titwala area. This initiative addresses a long-standing demand from residents who faced difficulties and safety concerns due to inadequate lighting. The KDMC's electrical department installed the lights on November 5, following a meeting with residents and civic officials. This is part of a larger plan to install 185 streetlights in tribal settlements by 2026, aiming to improve visibility and enhance safety for residents during night hours.

दिवाली से पहले, कल्याण-डोंबिवली नगर निगम (KDMC) ने टिटवाला इलाके की आदिवासी बस्तियों में 50 नई स्ट्रीटलाइटें चालू की हैं। इस पहल से निवासियों की एक पुरानी मांग पूरी हुई है, जिन्हें अपर्याप्त रोशनी के कारण कठिनाइयों और सुरक्षा संबंधी चिंताओं का सामना करना पड़ रहा था। KDMC के बिजली विभाग ने निवासियों और पालिका अधिकारियों के साथ बैठक के बाद 5 नवंबर को लाइटें लगाईं। यह 2026 तक आदिवासी बस्तियों में 185 स्ट्रीटलाइटें लगाने की एक बड़ी योजना का हिस्सा है, जिसका उद्देश्य रात के समय निवासियों के लिए दृश्यता में सुधार करना और सुरक्षा बढ़ाना है।
