Gen Z AISA President Neha Bora Detained During Protest Against CEC Gyanesh Kumar

Neha Bora, the Gen Z president of the All India Students' Association (AISA), was detained in Delhi during a protest against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar over alleged voter-roll irregularities. Bora, a PhD scholar and activist, was apprehended near INA market along with other prominent activists. She had urged supporters to gather at Dilli Haat, which she declared the new Jantar Mantar. Over 500 protesters were reportedly arrested by noon. Bora has previously been prominent in student protests, including those concerning NEET irregularities and a hunger strike.

ऑल इंडिया स्टूडेंट्स' एसोसिएशन (AISA) की जीन जेड अध्यक्ष नेहा बोरा को कथित मतदाता सूची की अनियमितताओं को लेकर मुख्य चुनाव आयुक्त ज्ञान प्रकाश के खिलाफ विरोध प्रदर्शन के दौरान दिल्ली में हिरासत में लिया गया। पीएचडी विद्वान और कार्यकर्ता बोरा को अन्य प्रमुख कार्यकर्ताओं के साथ INA बाजार के पास पकड़ा गया था। उन्होंने समर्थकों से दिल्ली हाट में इकट्ठा होने का आग्रह किया था, जिसे उन्होंने नया जंतर मंतर घोषित किया था। दोपहर तक 500 से अधिक प्रदर्शनकारियों को कथित तौर पर गिरफ्तार किया गया था। बोरा पहले भी छात्र विरोध प्रदर्शनों में प्रमुख रही हैं, जिनमें NEET की अनियमितताओं और भूख हड़ताल से संबंधित विरोध प्रदर्शन शामिल हैं।
