Telangana Revenue Minister Orders War-Footing Assessment of Cyclone Damage

Telangana Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy has directed officials to assess cyclone damage on a war-footing. The assessment will cover crops, roads, irrigation, and electricity infrastructure in the erstwhile undivided Khammam district, affected by Cyclone Murasu. Collectors have been asked to submit detailed damage estimates within two to three days. The Minister also lauded the NDRF and SDRF teams for their rescue efforts and highlighted the State government's investment in strengthening the SDRF with training and modern equipment.

तेलंगाना के राजस्व मंत्री पोंगुलेटी श्रीनिवास रेड्डी ने अधिकारियों को युद्ध स्तर पर चक्रवात से हुए नुकसान का आकलन करने का निर्देश दिया है। यह आकलन पूर्व अविभाजित खम्मम जिले में फसलों, सड़कों, सिंचाई और बिजली के बुनियादी ढांचे को कवर करेगा, जो चक्रवात मुरसु से प्रभावित हुआ था। कलेक्टरों से दो से तीन दिनों के भीतर नुकसान का विस्तृत अनुमान प्रस्तुत करने को कहा गया है। मंत्री ने एनडीआरएफ और एसडीआरएफ टीमों के बचाव प्रयासों की सराहना की और एसडीआरएफ को प्रशिक्षण और आधुनिक उपकरणों से मजबूत करने में राज्य सरकार के निवेश पर प्रकाश डाला।
